The Pieces of Me
By the time they finished breakfast the food had gone cold, but Clint swore it was still better than what he had been living on the past few weeks. Afterwards, as tempting as it was to stay in bed all day, he had struggled into his clothes and met her in the kitchen while she cleaned up. A shower and a change of clothes sounded like about the best thing ever at that point, and he had been pleasantly surprised when she told him he didn’t have to go far to accomplish that.
Despite his absence Tony had made sure that Clint had his own apartment inside the tower as well, and he hadn’t taken care of just the furnishings. There would be clothes in the closet as well, and likely in the proper size. Tony had probably stolen his measurements from his SHIELD file for uniforms.
Clint had insisted that he would be back, that he wasn’t planning to stay in his new place, but Natasha had accompanied him anyway to the room. He didn’t argue.
“Have you seen the place?” he asked as he stopped outside of the door. “Should I be scared?”

There was an urge once more to say everything that had been building and lingering since Barton had appeared in her apartment the night before but the words were dying on her lips and the only thing that seemed to matter was their joined bodies.
Natasha teased her fingers through the hair at the nape of his neck and brought her head back up so she could look at him.

He met her gaze when she tilted her head back and he thought he could get lost in her eyes, so dark and expressive. Bringing one hand to her face he brushed her hair back behind her ear before cupping her cheek, his thumb brushing softly over her skin. “Tasha...” he murmured, otherwise unmoving.

She leaned forward and brushed her lips, not quite a kiss so that she didn't have to break the gaze. Ever since she first saw him, saw those piercing blue eyes, she knew something was going to change. She had struggled to trust anyone and then SHIELD had sent this archer after her and in the midst of fighting, she had realised she could trust him. He'd given her a second chance.

He thought he could stay like this forever, sheathed in her warmth and lost in her eyes, but slowly he began to move in short thrusts, barely pulling out before pushing in again.

She kissed him as much as she dared, wanting to hold his gaze as much as she could. They were joined now. So much more than partners and teammates. How did they ever think that they could keep the physical seperate the the professional? There was nowhere left for Natasha to hide now. Everything she felt was written across her face and in her eyes, in each breath she took and touch of his skin.

He picked up the pace a little, a few pleasured noises escaping his lips. Somewhere along the line Natasha had become the most important part of his life, the one thing he never wanted to be without, and he was tired of pretending otherwise.

Natasha moaned his name quietly. There was no chance of them being overheard but the atmosphere that had been created kept them relatively muted. She drew him in for another kiss, her hands roaming over his back as she tried to touch all of him at once.

Clint couldn’t remember it ever being this slow and intense and honest. Their every thoughts and feelings were spoken through touch and looks and the barest whisper of a name. He kissed her, fingers tangling in her hair while the other hand rest on her hip as they moved. His breath was coming shallower, his heart rate increasing, but he didn’t want to stop kissing her even to breathe.

She didn't want the kisses to stop either. She didn't want anything to stop. She tried to pull Clint even closer, and wrap herself further around him as their mouths connected in a passionate kiss that sent sparks shooting through every nerve in her body. She let him swallow a moan as her body tightened around him, holding him in place for just a moment before the kiss broke and their eyes met again.

They had been separated before on missions, many a times, but the reunions had never been like this. There had been relief and reassurance, happiness and desire, but this was all of those things and more.
Breathing heavily against her lips when they parted Clint tried to say something, anything, but her eyes were so close and and so large and emotional that he thought he might fall right into them and drown. “Tash, I...” he managed but his voice was too thick and he couldn’t finish. He hoped she knew anyway.

Again she kissed him deeply, letting the archer swallow the moans for her as she gripped the edge of the counter with her other hand. Her hips rolled as she moved with him, each thrust bringing them closer and closer.
Natasha's body trembled and tightened in warning, her teeth scraping against his bottom lip before she broke the kiss. "Clint, I'm--" She was close. So very, very close and she needed him to dive over that edge with her.

She moved again in earnest and he matched her rhythm, moving with her as one, one hand gripping her thigh, holding her tight around him. The kiss itself was almost overwhelming and he met her moans with some of his own but they were lost in the moment with the words left unspoken.
He felt her getting close, time and distance having done nothing to take away the memory of how her body reacted. He knew what she wanted, knew she wanted him to fall with her, and he wouldn’t disappoint. He pushed harder, deeper, letting every sensation wash over him; the taste of her lips, the sheer weight of the whole experience, the clench of her muscles around him. It was only fitting that this time, this first time with such naked feeling, they reached that height together.

Natasha didn't pull him into a kiss as she finally let herself come undone, her gaze holding his as best she could when her body started to tremble around him and drown from the delicious waves of pleasure that crashed over them both. Her hands cupped his jaw and she brushed only a faint kiss as she smiled when it felt like her body might just go falling back against the sink.

Yes, they needed to talk, but right now he thought their bodies had said all that was needed in the moment. Slowly opening his eyes he returned her smile before lowering his head to rest on her shoulder.

Natasha licked at her lips as she worked on slowing down her breathing, a smile that seemed like it wasn't going to fade still playing across her features. She hugged Clint a little tighter before turning her head to kiss his cheek. "I guess we're skipping the shower."

Smiling at her words he slowly lifted his head to meet her eyes. Along with the travel grime he was now covered in sweat, so he probably needed a shower more than ever. “How about a bath instead?” he replied, only half joking.
