Natasha rubbed her fingers over the back of his neck in a soothing gesture even as she moved her head to rest her cheek on his shoulder. For a long moment there was nothing going through her mind. It was a blank as the sheer ecstasy and relief of being able to finally show him how she felt kept her quiet. That, and the surprise that it wasn't as hard as she'd thought. It wasn't the end of the world. It wasn't the undoing of a friendship.
Natasha licked at her lips as she worked on slowing down her breathing, a smile that seemed like it wasn't going to fade still playing across her features. She hugged Clint a little tighter before turning her head to kiss his cheek. "I guess we're skipping the shower."
