She held him so close, so tight, that he could hardly move but it didn’t matter. Holding her body flush against his, being buried so deep inside her, was enough, especially when she kissed him like that. His heart felt fit to burst with all the emotion that was building up inside of him, all the things he wanted to say but couldn’t seem to find the words to do so.
They had been separated before on missions, many a times, but the reunions had never been like this. There had been relief and reassurance, happiness and desire, but this was all of those things and more.
Breathing heavily against her lips when they parted Clint tried to say something, anything, but her eyes were so close and and so large and emotional that he thought he might fall right into them and drown. “Tash, I...” he managed but his voice was too thick and he couldn’t finish. He hoped she knew anyway.
