Natasha smiled against his neck as she let her face press against his skin. She was only now realising just how much she had been waiting to see if Clint would approve. Waiting to see if he would appreciate she had done. Maybe they had been tacky souvenirs to most people, but to Clint they meant something and it was enough for her.
She lifted her head againa and met his gaze. They hadn't finished that talk, but something else occurred to her now they were standing in his new home. "Maybe we should stay here. I mean, maybe I should stay with you. I can bring some clothes down, and what little food there is."
She ran her tongue along her lips before smiling and giving his hip a slight squeeze. Her gaze drifted back to the apartment. The place really did feel more of a home than her own apartment. She wondered if maybe she should look into actually decorating her place and letting go of the notion that she didn't need attachments.
"It was my priority," she told him, her eyes meeting his once more. "I needed to be close to you."
